Living Word Ministries International Leadership
Living Word Ministries International is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Robert L. Campbell, Sr.
Chief Apostle
Apostle Robert L. Campbell, Sr., D.D, TH.D yielded to the call of God upon his life in 1986. The Man of God has been selected, elected, chosen, anointed, and ordained by Almighty God to preach and teach the Word of God. For Bishop Campbell, the ministry is not a job but it is his life lived-out, sold-out and poured-out in service as co-laborers with God to bless the body of Christ.
He walks under a powerful Apostolic Anointing which was affirmed upon him by his Spiritual Father Bishop A.D Simon in 1989. He has an anointed, life-changing ministry in the area of marriage and broken relationships, being in the very presence of God’s Man has brought healing, restoration to those who need it the most. is the founder of Living Word Ministries Intl. He established the first church in Freeport Texas in 1991 after pastoring for a year. The Spirit of God moved on his heart to reach the lost in a way the traditional church would not receive them. In 1993 after ministering in a street revival, in an area that was known for drugs and prostitution God spoke to Apostle Campbell’s heart again to start a work in Rosenberg, Texas. Bishop is also the founder of Robert Campbell Ministries. He established RCM in 2003 in order to get the word to those who were lost and hurting across the nation. After working in the area of alcohol and drugs as a counselor for five years, God spoke to Apostle again, this time to open an outreach ministry for people that have problems with alcohol, and drugs. This ministry was organized in 2004 and named Because We Care Ministries. Apostle Campbell was called in 2005 to be a Father to Pastors. He then began to meet other senior pastors who were hurting and on the verge of giving up, therefore Iron Sharpeneth Iron Ministerial Fellowship was founded in 2006, which ministers to senior pastors and fivefold ministers across the nation.
Apostle Campbell has been happily married for 50 years to his wife, Dr. Gretchen Campbell. God has blessed them with 4 children: Veronica Curry, Robert Campbell, Jr., Holly Campbell, and Marcus Campbell, Sr. However, in 2016, Robert Jr. was called home to be with the Lord.
Apostle finds his encouragement in Psalms 40:2:
“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”
Dr. Gretchen F. Campbell
Senior Pastor/Finance Director
In 1984, while attending a traditional Southern Baptist church, the Holy Spirit revealed to Dr. Campbell that there was more to this great gospel than “just having church”. Dr. Campbell’s heart’s desire is to seek God’s face and not His hands. The Holy Spirit began to teach her to use God’s Word, so she can receive answers to her prayers. The Holy Spirit continues to empower her with wisdom and knowledge. Dr. Gretchen F. Campbell (GFC) has a saying that she is “God’s Favorite Child”. She is powerful and highly anointed to preach the word of God. He has given her boldness to stand and proclaim His word to the Kingdom of God. Her life’s experiences in ministry, motherhood, and being a pastor have led her to have a heart for broken and hurting people. This journey has enabled her to be real and openly unashamed with the Body of Christ.
Her motto is, “It’s not about me, it’s about the Kingdom of God.”
Along with her husband of fifty years, Bishop and Dr. Campbell are the Founders of Living Word Ministries International Formerly New Beginning Christian Center in Rosenberg, Texas. Together they have served as pastors for over twenty-eight years. She is also the Founder of The Refreshed Women’s Ministry. This ministry enables women across the board to be healed mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially.
As she continued to work alongside her husband, she became a mother to Pastors that were hurting and on the verge of giving up.
